VISION & PURPOSE

As a younger man I traveled the world with a still camera and an open mind, documenting world events in the UK, Europe, Central America and the United States. More recently I have turned my energies to providing emergency medical support to production crews in Southern California and Northern New Mexico. Now it is time to return to my roots as a documentarian, with motion and sound bringing images to life.
My current project, TRULY SOMETHING FINE, is an examination of the life of singer-songwriter Nanci Griffith, whose songs and performances were not her only contribution to the musical world. Ms. Griffith's musical legacy is far greater than just her exquisite songbook. A deeply private person, Griffith nevertheless shared her passion and talent with other aspiring musicians, and fostered many whose careers outshone her own. I hope to give credit where it is long overdue.
